Student Achievement

We are very proud of our students and their achievements here at Holy Family. The teachers and support staff all work exceptionally hard to get the very best out of all students. One area as Principal I feel very proud of, is all teachers show genuine care for ALL student's achievements regardless of what area of the school they are in. This is something that is really special as it is certainly not like this in every school. Your support too, as parents is essential in the partnership between home and school. We are blessed to have engaged and active parents who do work alongside their children to help them to be the best they can be. Our results continue to be well above national average here at Holy Family.

Below is an info-graphic showing you our achievement data in relation to National Standards in 2015. Please look at the percentages of both male and female for each area. National Standards is not the only form of assessment data we gather. Please be aware their are many ways we measure "progress added" throughout the year that does not sit in line with the Governments priority to measure students against a standard.  As a Board of Trustees and School we have to set achievement targets each year and it is Ministry of Education expectation that these are measured using the National Standards.

In 2016 our Maths and Writing Targets are to have 90% students AT or ABOVE National Standard in Maths and Writing. This is an ambitious goal for a already high performing school but we want to continue to raise achievement for all students right across the school. We will continue to keep you informed along our journey this year. Please remember that at any time you have concerns or questions please do not hesitate to see your child's teacher so we can continue to support you and them on this learning journey.
